Tin Nyanko
Sailor Tin Nyanko is the fourth animamate to appear, both in the manga and in the anime. Her "undercover" name in the manga is Nyanko and in the anime it is Suzu Nyanko. Like Sailor Galaxia and the other animamates, Tin Nyanko used to be good until she was corrupted by Chaos. In the manga, Tin Nyanko quikly gains Usagi's trust at school by hanging around her a lot. The Sailor Starlights bacame suspicious of her. Nyanko then goes to Usagi's house. When Luna and Artemis appears, she blasts them. The cats turn to their human form. An argument comes between the cats and Tin Nyanko concerning the planet Mau. Tin Nyanko screams that there is no Sailor Mau, nor is there the planet Mau and that it is dead. She said she had the sailor crystal of Sailor Mau and, one day, she would become a real senshi with her very own planet. Luna and Artemis accuse Tin Nyanko of being a traitor to their planet. But Tin Nyako says they are traitors for leaving their planet so long ago to become guardian cats. The fight escalates during this time and Diana, in her human form, comes between Tin Nyanko and her parents. Tin Nyanko blasts the three guardian cats back into their cat forms. Then she sees the sailor senshi coming and retreats. Sailor Galaxia kills Tin Nyanko when she returns without the star seed. In the anime, she gains Usagi's trust for a little while. We learn from her that the plante Mau has been destroyed. She fights Luna and Artemis and leaves them terribly wounded. Later, Eternal Sailor Moon heals Tin Nyanko, making her 50% good and 50% bad. Failing to get the star seed, Sailor Galaxia kills her. It is interesting to note, Tin Nyanko is one of the few villains in the manga who gets some character development. |
