Zoisite
Zoisite is one of the four generals of the Dark Kingdom (Negaverse in the English DUB), along with Jadeite, Kunzite, and Nephrite. He is the European Division Head. Like the other generals, Zoisite used to be one of Prince Endymion's protectors during the Silver Millenium. The generals were corrupted by Queen Metallia and turned evil. Then, after the Silver Millenium ended, all the generals were corrupted once again. Zoisite lauched an attack from Tokyo Tower. However, the senshi quickly defeat him. Zoisite survives, but in his next attack, Sailor Venus arrives and kills Zoisite. Zoisite is named after the gem Zoisite. When he is killed, he turns into that gem. In the dubbed anime, Zoisite was shown to be female. However, this is just wrong. Zoisite has always been a male. Also in the anime, Zoisite was shown to be gay and in love with Kunzite. This is just not true. Zoisite and Kunzite have never had any relationship other than just being friends! Takeuchi Naoko drew a concept drawing pairing the four generals each with one of the Inner Senshi. In this drawing, Zoisite was paired with Sailor Mercury. However, this idea was never expanded on at all. There is absolutely no evidence of a relationship between the four generals and the Inner Senshi, with the exception of Sailor Venus and Kunzite. However, it's a fun idea for fan fiction writers to expand on. |
